Ingredients
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup oil
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • powdered sugar for dusting
  • cubes of Turkish delight
  • chopped walnuts
Preparation
  1. Boil the water with the oil and baking soda.
  2. Add the flour and mix quickly to form a sticky dough.
  3. Make balls and place a cube of Turkish delight and walnuts in each.
  4. Roll them and place on a baking tray lined with paper.
  5. Bake at 200 degrees until slightly pink.
  6. Immediately remove and dust with powdered sugar.
  7. These cookies can last up to 10 days in a box and remain crispy and delicious.
