Spaghetti Carbonara

Ingredients
  • 300 g spaghetti
  • 1 onion
  • 150 g diced bacon
  • olive oil
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 200 ml cooking cream
  • 50 g cheese/parmesan
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • basil
Preparation
  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions.
  2. In a heated deep pan with oil, sauté the finely chopped onion, then add the bacon.
  3. Add the cream while stirring gently and continuously.
  4. Incorporate the egg yolks and mix well.
  5. Add 50-60 ml of warm water, possibly from the spaghetti.
  6. Stir in the grated cheese/parmesan and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. Once the sauce thickens, remove from heat, drain the spaghetti, and mix with the sauce. Season with basil. Enjoy!
